10:00 - 14:00 A free creative outdoor workshop in Merkland Wood near Brodick, the second of three workshops exploring Arran's temperate rainforests. Artists Saffy Setohy and Joanna Young lead it with National Trust for Scotland rangers Kate Sampson and Ciara Vernon, combining gentle movement, drawing, writing, citizen science and conversation on a walk of about 2 km. The route follows paths and forestry tracks with a few short steep sections; walking poles are available. Meet at the Brodick Castle & Gardens car park. No arts or ecology experience needed. Open only to people local to Arran; ages 8+, under-16s with an adult. No dogs except assistance dogs. Help with travel costs is available. Book on Eventbrite.
