Path Maintenance in Merkland Wood

09:30 - 15:30 A three-day conservation volunteering task with the NTS Arran Ranger Service in Merkland Wood. Volunteers remove damaged timber and build a new boardwalk to improve safety and access through the woodland. No experience is needed: guidance, tools, gloves and equipment are provided. You can join for one, two or all three days. Bring waterproofs, layers, a packed lunch and water; you need to be able to carry heavy material. Spaces are limited, and you must register as an NTS volunteer to book. Meet at the ranger centre in Brodick Country Park.
